PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
ANNIE'S BAR (3 May 1993)

Motion Details

That this House notes the concern of the Catering Committee about the sad decline of Annie's Bar which now attracts only a handful of patrons; is mindful of its recent welcome installation of real ale; and suggests that as the House has enthusiastic and thriving all-party groups supporting football, rugby league, cricket, horse racing, golf; boxing and many other sports, the installation of a teleivison set for the news, and particularly one with the satellite Sports Channel 20, would undoubtedly be very popular, and as in other pubs up and down the country, boost takings into good profits.
