PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
GARY GRAHAM AND THE DEATH PENALTY (No.2) (3 May 1993)
Motion Details
That this House expresses its appreciation of the decision by Governor Ann Richards of Texas to grant a thirty day stay of execution to Gary Graham; calls on her and the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles to use this time to grant Mr Graham a full clemency hearing; and notes that only in such a way can those evidential issues not admissible in the Texas courts due to very restrictive procedures be given due consideration and the compelling evidence of Mr Graham's innocence be properly brought to light.
