leave out from 'House' to end and add 'notes that at the Committee Stage of the Freedom and Responsibility of the Press Bill the honourable Member for Hammersmith said "I am glad that the honourable Member for Bolton North-east tabled the amendments. I acknowledge that they cover points raised by News International, but they are none the worse for that" (Standing Committee F,10th March, column 57); further notes that the Freedom and Responsibility of the Press Bill is opposed by a wide range of organisations and individuals including the National Union of Journalists, the Newspaper Publishers Association, the Newspaper Society, the British Guild of Newspaper Editors, the editor of the Guardian and a number of other national newspaper editors, the Cross Media Group and other organisations as well as honourable Members from both sides of the House; and deplores attempts to limit debate on the Bill.'.
