RACISM IN FOOTBALL (23 November 2004)
Motion Details
That this House notes with concern the remarks of the Spanish coach and the reaction of parts of the crowd at the Under 21 and full friendly internationals in Spain in November; applauds the English team and coach for their restrained response on the night and the Football Association in the Kick It Out campaign for their strenuous efforts to drive racism out of the English game; and urges FIFA to take the necessary action to ensure that this behaviour is seen as unacceptable in the modern game.
