Motion Details

That this House celebrates the life of Cath Friel who passed away in June 2019; remembers her impressive track record as a Unison activist and official, notably in Glasgow Health Branch, former Deputy Convener of UNISON Scotland, member of the first UNISON National Executive and Learning Organiser in Northern Ireland; recognises her contribution to provide lifelong learning to many of her Unison colleagues; further recognises her impact on and achievements in the trade union movement; and sends condolences to her friends and family at this time.
