MANCHESTER CITY FC 2018-19 PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS (13 May 2019)

That this House congratulates Manchester City Football Club on the fantastic achievement of achieving two consecutive Premier League titles; recognises the world-class leadership of Pep Guardiola and the quality football by the players; applauds the commitment of the chairman and owners to maintaining and developing the club's proud traditions at the heart of its community; salutes the supporters, many of whom remained steadfastly loyal to the club through decades of failing to win a top-level trophy; acknowledges the contribution of the backroom staff; and congratulates Liverpool Football Club on its exceptional Premier League points tally and contribution to a historic season.
