PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
PEOPLE'S VOTE (27 March 2019)

Motion Details

That this House supports holding a public vote on whether or not the UK should leave the European Union on the final terms agreed between the Government and the European Union; celebrates the fact that thousands of members of the Co-operative movement and Co-operative Party joined the march of more than one million people on Saturday 23 March 2019 in favour of a People's Vote on any Brexit deal; believes any Brexit deal must include continued access to the UK Single Market; rejects the argument that no deal is better than a bad deal; and further believes Britain should not be led down a path of greater inequality, insecurity and isolation, but one where wealth and power are shared.
