Motion Details

That this House recognises the equal role that disabled people can play in a workplace; acknowledges the value of employers having the proper infrastructure and facilities in place to support disabled employees; notes that an employer can currently retract a job offer on the basis of an individual having a disability; and urges the Government to introduce stricter legislation to prevent employers from retracting job offers on the basis of the prospective employee having a disability.
