DISABILITY RIGHTS COMMISSION (23 February 2018)
Motion Details
That this House welcomes the work undertaken by the Disability Rights Commission, an independent body set up by the Government to help secure civil rights for disabled people; recognises disabled people still face difficulties accessing public buildings; encourages smaller firms to seek expert advice on how to meet the needs of disabled customers; and calls on the Government to ensure that
the 2010 Equalities Act is being enforced and full provision is provided by businesses and shops.
