Motion Details
That this House congratulates Edinburgh author J.K. Rowling on being made a Companion of Honour, recognising her outstanding contribution to literature and culture; notes that the magical world created by Ms Rowling captured the imaginations of children and adults alike, defining childhoods, bringing families together and entertaining people of all ages; and welcomes the continued recognition of a British cultural icon and her work in the literary sphere and beyond.
