PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
UPSKIRTING LEGISLATION (29 November 2017)

Motion Details

That this House notes that there is no specific offence of taking upskirt photos; further notes that existing criminal offences are often not sufficient to bring prosecutions for upskirting; welcomes the fact that the public petition brought by campaigner Gina Martin on the issue has attracted more than 70,000 signatures; and calls on the Government to bring forward legislative proposals to add a specific sexual offence of upskirting to the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
