Motion Details

That this House expresses deep concern for the safety and welfare of the prominent Chinese human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng; notes that Gao has been forcibly disappeared on no less than six occasions and has also been subject to torture and prison; further notes with grave concern that he was disappeared again in August 2017; and calls on the Government to make strong representations about his case to the Chinese Government
