PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
CARDIAC DISEASE IN YOUNG PEOPLE (10 January 2017)

Motion Details

That this House notes with deep concern that 12 young people die suddenly each week from previously undiagnosed cardiac conditions; believes that this figure is far too high and that more can be done to screen and better record the incidences of cardiac disease in young people; and calls on the Government to adopt a national strategy to highlight this issue and prevent avoidable deaths of young people in the future.
