PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
DEATH OF SHEHZAD MASIH AND SHAMA BIBI (15 November 2016)

Motion Details

That this House notices with alarming concern that two years after the beating, torture and burning alive in a furnace of the Christian couple, Shehzad Masih and Shama Bibi, by a fanatical mob, for their alleged blasphemy after they were unable to repay a loan to their employer, the government of Pakistan has failed to bring to justice any culprits, as with similar attacks previously; and urges the government of Pakistan to take immediate action and to ensure that its religious minorities are protected in accordance with international standards.
