PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
CITY AIRPORT (2 March 2016)
Motion Details
That this House notes with concern that from February 2016 London City Airport has introduced revised, more concentrated flight paths in and out of the airport and that air traffic is now more concentrated over a narrower corridor, affecting many residents profoundly; further notes the lamentable lack of engagement with elected representatives and residents' groups; and calls on the Department for Transport to review the role of the Civil Aviation Authority in making decisions about flight paths in light of this clear lack of accountability to residents and elected representatives.
