PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
35TH ANNIVERSARY OF ROSS-SHIRE WOMEN'S AID (9 December 2015)

That this House congratulates Ross-shire Women's Aid, which has provided support to women, children and young people with experience of domestic abuse across Ross-shire, Skye and Lochalsh for 35 years; notes that during this time, Ross-shire Women's Aid has helped thousands of women, children and young people to rebuild their lives and recover from the impact of living with domestic abuse; and recognises the work it undertakes to tackle gender inequality, the root cause of violence against women, to challenge attitudes and to highlight the role that everyone has to play in stopping domestic abuse.
