PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
PANCREATIC CANCER (23 November 2015)
Motion Details
That this House notes with concern that just under 9,000 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the UK every year; acknowledges that this type of cancer has the lowest five-year survival rate of any common cancer and one that has barely improved in 40 years; and commends Ulster University on its major breakthrough on pancreatic cancer which could lead to a fivefold reduction in the size of tumours.
