PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
SAVE THE CHILDREN'S 3,000 UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN CAMPAIGN (5 November 2015)

Motion Details

That this House calls on the Government, in line with Save the Children's campaign, to accept 3,000 unaccompanied children already in the EU into the UK, and to accept that, as the UNHCR states, these unaccompanied children do not have family members, are vulnerable and at risk of disappearing; and urges the Government to show compassion and provide sanctuary to these children, many of whom will have fled the Assad regime and the tyranny of IS, and provide as many of them as possible with a safe haven in the UK before Christmas.
