GRANITE CITY ROLLER GIRLS (14 September 2015)
Motion Details
That this House congratulates the Aberdeen Granite City Roller Girls on securing an Awards for All grant from the Big Lottery Fund; notes that this funding will enable the Granite City Roller Girls to continue to train, compete and promote the growing and popular sport of roller derby in Aberdeen and beyond; and applauds the dedication and passion of these amateur athletes on and off the track, which will inspire girls and young women to participate and compete in sport.
