PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
TURNER PRIZE IN GLASGOW IN 2015 (7 September 2015)

Motion Details

That this House notes that works of the four shortlisted nominees for the Turner Prize 2015 will be exhibited at the Tramway Theatre in Glasgow from 1 October 2015 to 17 January 2016, the first time that the Turner Prize has been held in Scotland; believes that the hosting of such a prestigious prize will make a significant contribution to the already vibrant cultural life of Glasgow; further notes that the free entry to the exhibition, along with the programme of workshops and activities will allow a wide range of people to enjoy and be inspired by world-class art; and wishes the nominees and all of those involved with the 2015 Turner Prize every success.
