PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
50th ANNIVERSARY OF ST NINIAN'S CHURCH OF SCOTLAND, TANSHALL, GLENROTHES (7 September 2015)

That this House congratulates the parishioners of St Ninian's Church of Scotland, Tanshall, on achieving fifty years of service to the communities of West Glenrothes; records its thanks for the contribution the church has made to the spiritual and social wellbeing of Glenrothes since the early days of the New Town; commends in particular the St Ninian's Charity Shop and Community Café, established by the church and now operating as a charity in its own right, for providing a much-valued community focus in an area of significant deprivation; offers its best wishes on the occasion of the special Service of Thanksgiving to be attended by the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland on 13 September 2015; and wishes everyone connected with St Ninian's every success in their ongoing endeavours.
