AIM HIGHER (15 November 2010)

Motion Details

That this House expresses its appreciation for the excellent work carried out by Aim Higher in encouraging young people from areas of social and economic deprivation to raise their aspirations in terms of seeking to gain a place in higher education; notes the testimony of many school students as to the positive way in which Aim Higher has enabled them to better appreciate and realise their true potential; and calls on the Government to consider urgently the importance of continued funding to enable this important programme to continue.
