PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
BEATBULLYING THE BIG MARCH CAMPAIGN (12 November 2010)
Motion Details
That this House recognises that millions of young people experience bullying every year; notes that over three quarters of a million schools, parents, children, organisations and charities have joined The Big March, a campaign organised by the charity Beatbullying; is concerned that current legislation does not address fully the problem of bullying or cyber bullying; is further concerned that decisions on anti-bullying policy could be made without full evidence to guide them; and urges the Government to commission a cross-departmental review into how schools and communities can reduce incidents of bullying and protect children from violence and harassment.
