PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
UNIVERSAL CHILD BENEFIT (10 October 2010)

Motion Details

That this House is deeply concerned at the unfairness of the Government's decision to axe child benefit where one parent earns about 44,000 per annum; recognises that two parents earning almost double the designated amount, 87,500, will still be in receipt of child benefit; and calls on the Government to reconsider this policy and restore child benefit to all parents.
