50th ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEATH OF ANEURIN BEVAN (4 July 2010)
Motion Details
That this House notes that it is 50 years since the death of Aneurin Bevan who took inspiration from his socialist ideals and the practical self-help health scheme of South Wales miners to create the National Health Service; and acknowledges the scale of his achievement in creating a health service for all, based on need and free at the point of use.
