PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
AWARDING OF JUBILEE MEDAL TO IMMIGRATION OFFICERS (26 May 2010)

Motion Details

That this House recognises the good work of immigration officers; considers that they should be retrospectively awarded the Golden Jubilee Medal, and considered for the Diamond Jubilee Medal; and further recognises that many immigration officers were understandably upset when they were not awarded the Jubilee Medal, unlike other important public servants, given their role in the frontline keeping the UK safe from terrorists, such as the hijackers at Stansted Airport, and other security threats.
