Job Losses in Calderdale (11 July 1990)
Motion Details
That this House is shocked at the loss of over 750 jobs in manufacturing in Calderdale during 1990; notes that many more jobs are at risk because of Government policies; and calls upon the Government to abandon its disastrous policy of high interest rates and implement a coherent economic strategy to develop and re-build the manufacturing base.
