PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
PROVISION OF ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT TO DISABLED AND TERMINALLY ILL CHILDREN (24 April 2007)

Motion Details

That this House calls for the improved provision of essential equipment to disabled and terminally ill children; notes with concern the findings of the report It's Not Too Much to Ask by national children's charity BDF Newlife that the current system is failing thousands of disabled and terminally ill children and their families; and calls on the Government to ensure that these children are properly provided for in terms of their individually assessed need and that criteria for equipment are standardised to put an end to the current post code lottery provision.
