PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
PANATHLON CHALLENGE (28 February 2007)

Motion Details

That this House recognises the enormous contribution made to school sport by the Panathlon Challenge, which has provided multi-sport competition for over 250,000 children, including disabled and able-bodied, over the last 10 years at an average cost of approximately £15 per head; notes the demand for this grass roots competition from schools around the country; and calls on the Minister for Sport to ensure that the Panathlon Challenge has a viable future as an integral part of the school sport programme.
