SMALL SHOPS (15 November 2006)
Motion Details
That this House recognises the value of small shops for local communities and is concerned by their declining presence on the High Street; notes that this Government has disproportionately increased the regulatory burden on small businesses; further notes that the total cost of regulation introduced by this Government since 1998 for UK businesses was over £50 billion; and urges the Government urgently to review this situation.
