PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
MYOTUBULAR MYOPATHY (19 July 2006)

That this House draws attention to the rare and serious muscle condition, Myotubular Myopathy; commends the work of the Myotubular Trust for raising funds for much needed research into this condition; notes that two eminent Professors of Neurology based at the Hammersmith Hospital judge that with more research into this condition help can be given to those suffering from it; acknowledges the contribution of Wendy Hughes, Trustee and Director of the Myotubular Trust for her awareness-building and fundraising projects for this new charity; and congratulates her on organising over 6,000 school children in Buckinghamshire including her son Zak and his friends at Chalfont St Peter Church of England School as well as brownies, guides and national schools to attempt a Guinness World Record to make the World's Longest Bunting Line.
