WORK OF THE PAKISTAN FOUNDATION (26 June 2006)

Motion Details

That this House recognises the work of the Pakistan Foundation to combat poverty and promote harmony and fairness; commends the Foundation's Chair, the hon. Member for Glasgow Central and other hon. Members, for their tireless efforts in support of its charitable works; notes the great achievement of the Foundation in establishing and supporting a hospital in the region of Rajana, Pakistan; further notes the importance of accessible and professional healthcare to impoverished communities; and hopes that other such excellent projects will widen access to such healthcare.
