INTERNATIONAL WHALING COMMISSION (5 June 2006)
Motion Details
That this House recognises the significant role played by the International Whaling Commission in protecting whales; further recognises the importance of continuing with that protection; is concerned about the success of diplomatic actions by pro-whaling countries which are attempting to take control of the International Whaling Commission; and calls upon the British Government to act to maintain the anti-whaling status quo.
