SLEEP APNOEA (1 December 2005)

Motion Details

That this House notes the seriousness of the condition obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA); further notes that it can have a major and often debilitating effect on its sufferer's quality of life; further notes that the effectiveness of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines in alleviating many of the problems caused by OSA; and calls on the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence to appraise and issue guidance on CPAP machines as soon as possible.
