Motion Details
That this House notes the 60th anniversary of the Nuremberg Trials that established that those most responsible for war crimes are accountable for their actions before international criminal courts; recalls the contribution to the success of the Nuremberg Trials of the work of Lord Shawcross, Sir David Maxwell Fyfe and junior counsel such as Colonel Gerald Draper; further notes the work now being done by the International Criminal Court; and urges the Government to give full support to the prosecution of war crimes.
