ANIMAL WELFARE AND THE EXPORT OF LIVE ANIMALS FOR SLAUGHTER (15 November 2005)
Motion Details
That this House welcomes the view of the Leader of the House, expressed in Business Questions on 10th November, that the issue of animal welfare, and in particular the export of live animals for slaughter, interests Right honourable and honourable Members of all parties and that a number of colleagues have consistently campaigned on the issue; and calls on the Government to listen to honourable Members and to the public and to bring an end to the cruel and unnecessary export to Europe of live animals for slaughter.
