PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
PROSTATE CANCER CHARTER FOR ACTION CAMPAIGN (31 October 2005)
Motion Details
That this House notes that prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in men; further notes that one man dies every hour from prostate cancer in the United Kingdom; is concerned that prostate cancer patients still report a significantly worse experience than patients with other cancers despite the welcome progress made in tackling this major killer since the launch of the original Prostate Cancer Charter for Action in 2003; therefore welcomes the launch of the revised Prostate Cancer Charter for Action; calls on all parliamentarians to speak out on prostate cancer; and urges the Government to prioritise action to implement the Charter's calls and improve the treatment and care of all men with prostate cancer.
