SITUATION IN TIBET (26 October 2005)
Motion Details
That this House regards the destruction of historic buildings, arbitrary security measures and environmental damage in Tibet as infringements upon basic human rights; regrets the British Government's decision not to pursue this, and other human rights issues in China, through the United Nations; and calls on the Prime Minister to raise these issues during the forthcoming visit by President Hu.
