CANCER RESEARCH UK AND TACKLING TESTICULAR CANCER (18 July 2005)
Motion Details
That this House notes that testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 15-45 years; further notes that there are over 2,000 new cases a year in the UK and that the number of cases has doubled since the 1970s; further notes that, if the disease is caught early, 95 per cent. of men with testicular cancer are cured; and congratulates Cancer Research UK for its campaign Tackling Testicular Cancer, which raises awareness of the symptoms of testicular cancer and encourages men not to delay in seeing their doctor should they believe they have these symptoms.
