PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
UNIVERSITY OF HULL AND YORK DENTAL SCHOOL BID (23 May 2005)

Motion Details

That this House notes that there are fewer NHS dentists per head of population in South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North and East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire than in England as a whole; further notes that, following the success of their Hull York Medical School, the universities of Hull and York are launching a bid to open a joint Hull York Dental School to address the local shortage of dentists; and calls upon the Government to look favourably upon this bid.
