PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
ENERGY EFFICIENCY MEASURES (4 March 2004)

Motion Details

That this House welcomes energy efficiency initiatives which are likely to reduce household fuel poverty and lower the use of power, but regrets the lack of progress being made by the Government in this field; is concerned that neither the moral nor the financial case for reducing usage has been made by the Government; believes that there should be an expansion of power efficiency schemes available to a wider cross-section of the public; and calls upon the Government to detail how it intends to achieve this.
