PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
MAKING HEALTHCARE MUTUAL (17 December 2002)

That this House welcomes the publication of the Mutuo pamphlet 'Making Healthcare Mutual'; notes that the pamphlet calls for new governance arrangements for health services, placing ownership in the hands of patients and employees; further notes that co-operative ownership is a true and progressive statement of democratic socialism; and calls upon the Government to engage with experts from the mutual sector in designing new structures for the Health Services.
