INTERNATIONAL PROBLEM OF CHILD PROSTITUTION (6 February 2003)
Motion Details
That this House deplores the use of children as prostitutes; is deeply concerned by the international problem of child prostitution, evident in countries such as Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Nepal and the Philippines; calls on Her Majesty's Government to work with such countries and the UN in fighting the sexual exploitation of children, and particularly to help bring to justice those who sexually exploit children, assist the establishment of specialist police units to address the commercial sexual exploitation of children; and help to enhance levels of communications between countries on this issue.
