Prisoners of Conscience in South Korea (30 November 1989)

Motion Details

That this House expresses its concern about the continued imprisonment of prisoners of conscience in South Korea, including the following nine individuals: Reverend Moon Ikhwan, Lee Bu-Yong, Lee Chang-bok, Park Chang-kyoon, Yo Un-jin, Chin Tu-hyon, Chong Song-hon, Hwang Tae-kwn and Im Hung-chin, who have been imprisoned for their non-violent advocacy of political change in South Korea; and calls on the South Korean Government to release them immediately and unconditionally.
