PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
FUTURE PROGRESS OF HUNTING BILL (21 October 2003)
Motion Details
That this House notes the decision of the House of Lords to amend the Hunting Bill to allow hunting with dogs to continue; recalls its own votes on at least nine occasions since 1995 to ban the cruel sport of hunting; regrets that there is now no chance that the issue of hunting can be resolved in this parliamentary session; and therefore looks forward to the reintroduction of the Hunting Bill in the Queen's Speech so that the House can reach a conclusion on the issue.
