LEAGUE OF WALES FOOTBALL SCORES (11 July 2001)
Motion Details
That this House notes the continuing absence of League of Wales football scores from the final score announcements on BBC's Grandstand programme on Saturdays; further notes that Scottish football scores are included in this programme, making the current absence of Welsh scores unfair and discriminatory; further notes the omission of Welsh scores holds back Welsh football's profile and funding; recognises it would take under a minute to include Welsh scores on the programme; and asks the BBC to rectify this omission by the end of 2001.
