PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
FURTHER EDUCATION FUNDING AND PAYSCALES (3 July 2001)

That this House applauds the Government's aims for further education and welcomes its targets in this sector; but recognises that these will only be delivered if further education staff salaries encourage both recruitment and retention and if poor funding levels which colleges experience are addressed by the Government, along with the loosening of ties around existing allocations of funding.
