TUC Brass Band Concert (22 November 1989)

Motion Details

That this House recognises that the Trades Union Congress Festival of Music is the premier brass band concert; congratulates the Trades Union Congress for its foresight in supporting the contest; and admires the high standard of musicianship from the bands taking part; particularly congratulates the Leyland Daf Band conducted by Richard Evans for winning the contest by a large margin; and calls upon the Minister for the Arts to give financial support to the brass band movement particularly by supporting its youth section.
