DISQUALIFICATION OF MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT FOLLOWING CRIMINAL CONVICTION (18 July 2001)

Motion Details

That this House believes that the rules governing disqualification of membership of Parliament, consequent upon criminal conviction and imprisonment should be applied in the same manner in the House of Lords as applies to those serving as honourable Members of this House; and calls upon the Goverment to legislate accordingly at the earliest opportunity.
