POLICE FIGURES IN HAVERING (14 January 2002)

Motion Details

That this House notes that the Answer given by the Home Secretary on 19th November 2001 regarding police numbers in Havering revealed the latest number of police officers in Havering to be 326 and not 334 as stated in Early Day Motion 598; further notes that there has been no overall increase in police numbers in Havering since June 1997, which have fallen as low as 297 in December 2000; and therefore calls upon the honourable Member for Hornchurch to correct his Early Day Motion in order to reflect the true strength of the Metropolitan Police Service in Havering.
